Welcome
to my page, take the time out and check it out!
Everything begun
with Steve Trotters Idea Steve is pretty active I must say and lucky
to survive all his neck-breaking Stunts. Just to name a few Niagara Falls
in a Barrel twice once single in 1985 the second with a Woman together
on Fathers-day in 1995. The San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge, the George
Washington Bridge, also the Mount Hope Bridge and the Newport Bridge in
NY, all of them are Pendulum-swings who Steve Trotter also is the founder
of. The Idea is to connect a cable somehow to some object grab this cable
go to the furthest point away from the anchor and swing like a pendulum.
What a rush…
Trotter and Justin
Porter and Glen Rohm tried the Tampa Skyway in 1990 for the first time.
He wanted to
break a world-record something never done before. Five People on a single
Cable swinging from the Tampa Skyway more than 200 feet high rushing down
with 65/mph in a freefall till the Cable stretches and you swing back and
forth.
Sounded great
to me so I went along to keep this on Still Photos for the record. There
was also a Video-crew on the bridge and one Helicopter to get it all on
Video. It's been seen many times on TV like talk-shows, Insight Edition,
Mary Powich Show, When Stunts go bad, Dateline and many more.
